I work primarily at the intersection of ethics, broadly construed, and empirically-informed moral psychology. I completed my PhD in August 2018 at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where I wrote my dissertation under the supervision of Daniel Jacobson

For the 2018-19 academic year, I am a visiting Assistant Professor of philosophy at Amherst College

Before graduate school, I completed a BA (Languages) in Indonesian studies, psychology, and philosophy with first class Honours in philosophy at the University of Sydney.

When I'm not doing philosophy, I especially enjoy cooking (and eating!), biking, traveling, and hanging out with dogs (especially this one and this one).

Feel free to email me at mbollard@amherst.edu.
